Our client, a rapidly growing global travel technology company, is seeking an experienced VP of Sales, North America to lead and scale its commercial operations across the US market.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a proven travel industry sales executive with deep relationships across the hotel and travel ecosystem and a track record of building, coaching, and leading high-performing B2B SaaS sales teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth, expanding key partnerships, and developing a world-class sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the North American sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of sales professionals focused on net-new business acquisition.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with hotel groups, travel agencies, consortia, OTAs, wholesalers, and other strategic partners.
- Drive pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and sales execution across the region.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Global Commercial leadership teams.
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to accelerate growth.
- Establish performance metrics and sales processes that support scalable growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings throughout North America.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in travel, hospitality, travel technology, or B2B SaaS sales leadership.
- Proven success leading enterprise sales teams within the travel sector.
- Strong network across hotel groups, travel agencies, travel management companies, consortia, OTAs, wholesalers, and travel technology providers.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling sales organizations.
- Experience selling SaaS, travel technology, distribution, marketplace, or enterprise software solutions.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders.
- Experience hiring, developing, and retaining top-performing sales talent.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Background
We are particularly interested in leaders from travel technology, hospitality technology, travel distribution, OTA platforms, and B2B travel marketplaces.
