Overview

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Web Manager to lead and optimise digital experiences across a healthcare-focused portfolio of event websites. Reporting into senior digital leadership, this role is responsible for ensuring all web journeys are purpose-led, conversion-focused, and aligned with business objectives.

This is a hands-on role combining web strategy, UX best practice, and performance optimisation. You will also lead a small team to deliver consistent, high-quality web experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver the web strategy across multiple healthcare websites and landing pages
  • Ensure all web activity is outcome-driven (registrations, leads, engagement, conversions)
  • Embed UX, SEO, CRO, and accessibility best practices across all digital touchpoints
  • Lead and mentor a small web team, driving quality, autonomy, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and commercial stakeholders to translate goals into effective digital journeys
  • Monitor performance using analytics tools and provide actionable optimisation recommendations
  • Maintain governance, consistency, and brand standards across all sites
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous enhancement of the digital experience

About You:

  • 5+ years’ experience in website management, UX optimisation, or digital product ownership
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI, SEO, CRO, and accessibility principles
  • Confident using analytics tools (e.g. GA4, Tag Manager, reporting dashboards) to drive decisions
  • Experience managing or mentoring small teams
  • Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms and working with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable challenging briefs and aligning web activity with strategic goals
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and marketing automation tools is a plus

Why the Role
You’ll play a key role in shaping how global healthcare audiences engage with digital content – turning websites into measurable, high-performing platforms while leading a team and driving meaningful impact.
