A Strategic Account Executive (SAE) is part of the Revenue team. They are the cornerstone of new
revenue and growth. They are focused and accountable for growing the business by fostering and
developing relationships with prospects, customers, suppliers, and other partners.

What does my team do?
As an SAE, you’ll be responsible for identifying and closing new business
opportunities. Our sales team has a positive, collegiate culture. Your Head of Revenue, colleagues,
and our Marketing team will support you to bring in more revenue and retain and influence the growth of
your customer portfolio.

Why does my role exist?
● Create, implement and own a new business pipeline across APAC
● Work strategically on new and existing accounts to expand revenue opportunities
● Nurture relationships and ensure exemplary client management
● Maintain accurate and up to date Shootsta product knowledge
● Achieve or exceed revenue growth targets
● Developing growth strategies and plans
● Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
● Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
● Writing business proposals
● Negotiating with stakeholders
● Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
● Following industry trends locally and internationally
● Generate leads and cold calling prospective customers
● Develop opportunities in target markets
● Nurturing and developing relationships with key customer accounts

What knowledge and experiential requirements do I need to be successful?
● 5+ years of consultative and solution-based selling experience with a
demonstrated track record of quota-carrying success-ideally in SaaS.

● Demonstrated experience in Enterprise and mid-market business development, contracts and
customer success.
● Prospecting skill in high-velocity sales as well as strategic accounts.
● Experience with contract interpretation, negotiations, and objections handling.
● Full of energy, motivation, and a results-in attitude to drive sales growth.
● Excellent communication skills that are impactful and persuasive with their intended audience.
● A genuine brand ambassador.
● Positive and goal-oriented.
● Ability to inspire others
● Intrinsic knowledge of the market and the Shootsta product mix
