Full Stack Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Full Stack) who is passionate about solving complex technical challenges, building high-performance applications, and driving innovation across front-end, backend, and full-stack development. This is a 12-month renewable contract opportunity with one of the social media client. You’ll collaborate with world-class Product, Design, Platform, and Operations teams to design, develop, and scale consumer-facing products and automated platforms that power exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities:

• Drive technical design proposals and effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail.
• Work closely with product, design, Support and other cross functional teams to define and refine project specifications.
• Technical design, implement and test (unit and end to end) complex project features and ensure hitting the project release timeline.
• Design and develop front-end interfaces, underlying APIs,or backend systems across a number of programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP(Hack)/Python
• Create consumer products and features on a large scale
• Master client’s development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity
• Partner closely with Product, Platform and Operations teams to build and scale a fully automated platform for operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
• Experience in working effectively with and influencing senior engineers across organizations
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects within a specified timeline
• Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts
• Proficient with decentralized source control management tools such as Git and Mercurial within a large team environment
• Proficient with React/Vue/Angular and/or other similar modern JavaScript framework
