The Head of Marketing will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy to position the organisation as a market leader within a highly regulated, technology-led financial services environment. The role is responsible for building brand strength, driving customer acquisition and retention, and supporting sustainable growth through innovative, data-driven marketing aligned with industry trends and regulatory frameworks.

Working closely with senior leadership, product, sales, and technology teams, the Head of Marketing ensures marketing strategy is fully aligned with the company’s vision, commercial objectives, and long-term growth plans. The role leads a multi-disciplinary marketing team to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with sophisticated B2B and institutional audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

  • Define and own the marketing strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans that drive growth, brand equity, and market expansion.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Technology, and senior leadership to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities to inform strategic priorities and positioning.

Brand Positioning & Corporate Identity:

  • Develop and evolve a clear, differentiated brand that resonates with institutional clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee brand architecture, messaging frameworks, and visual identity standards.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all regions, channels, and touchpoints.
  • Build credibility and trust through strong positioning around innovation, reliability, and compliance.

Communications & PR:

  • Lead corporate communications, media relations, and external messaging.
  • Develop and execute a proactive PR strategy to increase visibility across relevant financial, technology, and industry media.
  • Support executive visibility and thought leadership at industry events and forums.
  • Own crisis communications planning and reputation management.

Demand Generation & Growth Marketing:

  • Build and scale a data-driven demand generation engine targeting B2B and institutional audiences.
  • Oversee digital marketing, content strategy, performance campaigns, and funnel optimisation.
  • Implement marketing automation, analytics, and attribution models to measure ROI and pipeline impact.
  • Drive lifecycle marketing to improve engagement, retention, and product adoption.

Partnerships & Industry Engagement:

  • Support marketing initiatives with strategic partners to expand reach and credibility.
  • Contribute to co-marketing and ecosystem-led growth initiatives.
  • Develop thought leadership programmes including research, whitepapers, and executive content.

Team Leadership & Operations:

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Establish clear KPIs, performance frameworks, and operating rhythms.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-led decision making.
  • Manage the marketing budget with a focus on efficiency and measurable impact.

Executive Collaboration & Business Impact:

  • Provide regular insights to senior leadership on market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive dynamics.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are tightly aligned to commercial goals and revenue outcomes.
  • Champion customer-centric thinking across the organisation.
