DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer | 12 Month Contract | Inside IR35

📍 Location: Onsite – London or Ipswich

💰 Day Rate: £550 per day (+ £5,000 p.a. DV Allowance)
⏳ Duration: 12 Month Contract

Currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a 12-month contract to lead the end-to-end delivery of mission-critical systems that protect Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). You will own the full lifecycle, from design and build through to commissioning and live operations, for next-generation Building Management Systems (BMS), Central Monitoring Platforms (CMS), and CCTV environments.

Key Responsibilities:
🏗️ Architect, build, and deploy high-availability BMS, CMS, and CCTV environments.
🤖 Drive an automation-first approach using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).
💻 Solve complex platform challenges across compute, storage, and networking layers.
🔗 Integrate multi-vendor systems into cohesive, scalable, and secure CNI platforms.
🛡️ Enhance platform security, uptime, and resilience within high-availability environments.
📚 Develop reusable runbooks, technical documentation, and engineering standards.

What You Need to Succeed:
✅ Active UK DV Clearance (Must have resided in the UK for 10+ years).
🔄 Proven track record leading the full lifecycle (design to live ops) of critical infrastructure systems.
📹 Hands-on background in BMS, CMS, CCTV, or equivalent mission-critical control environments.
⚙️ Strong IaC automation skills (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).
🔒 Expertise in physical/system security principles and high-availability design.
