Fulltime on site role in Ipswich

A global company are looking for a DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer fulltime in Ipswich on a permanent (37.5hr) basis.

You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting secure IT infrastructure, working across virtualisation, networking, storage, automation and platform technologies. You’ll collaborate with technical teams to deliver resilient infrastructure solutions, provide technical leadership on complex issues, and support the ongoing health and optimisation of critical systems.

Essential Skills

  • VMware technologies (ESXi, vCenter, VMware Cloud Foundation)
  • Windows, Linux and/or macOS server administration
  • Containers and Kubernetes
  • NSX (Virtualisation & Networking)
  • Networking and storage technologies
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python or Java)
  • Infrastructure automation and IaC using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Foreman, Kickstart/PXE or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
