Midweight Print & Retail Designer
£33,000 to £35,000
Fully remote in the UK, with occasional travel to London and shoot locations
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing furniture and ecommerce brand that has expanded from primarily online retail into physical stores. With further UK store growth planned through 2027, it’s an exciting time to join their creative team.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Creative, you’ll lead print and in-store creative, helping make sure the physical retail experience looks every bit as strong as the brand does online. From store launches and window graphics to catalogues and OOH campaigns, you’ll own projects from initial concept through to print-ready artwork and supplier delivery. The prioritisation and workflow is handled for you so you can concentrate on producing great highly-visible work every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Design in-store POS, display print and signage
- Create window vinyls, in-store vinyls and shopfront graphics
- Design and artwork catalogues and printed marketing
- Create billboard and out-of-home campaigns
- Produce technically accurate print-ready artwork across large-format and specialist print
- Work directly with printers and suppliers on proofs, materials and production deadlines
- Create store launch packs and roll out graphics across new and existing locations
- Keep materials updated as products and specifications change
- Support digital creative when required during busy periods or annual leave
About You
- 3+ years’ graphic design experience with a strong print portfolio
- Expert knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong technical print knowledge, including large-format, vinyl, colour profiles, bleed and finishing
- Experience managing print suppliers and production deadlines
- Excellent typography, layout and brand craft
- Organised enough to manage several retail projects concurrently
Nice to Haves
- Retail or visual merchandising experience
- Store fit-out or environmental graphics experience
- Basic video editing or motion skills
- Figma experience
Why would you want to join/do the job?
The really interesting part of this opportunity is timing. You’ll be joining while our client is actively expanding its bricks-and-mortar footprint, giving you the opportunity to see your work become part of brand new physical retail environments around the UK. Perfect for an ambitious and creative professional that wants to be remote AND a valued team member.
