Our client is a leading global marketing automation platform, empowering businesses with cutting-edge AI solutions. Based in Sydney with a growing APAC presence, they offer a dynamic and collaborative environment.

This Global Martech brand, are expanding in Sydney, Australia & has new opportunity for an experienced Business Development Specialist with passion for Martech & AI solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for acquiring mid-market customers and fast-growing SMBs.

Responsibilities:-

· You will own the full sales cycle for new business customers from targeted outreach, through to inbound qualification and discovery, value selling and closing.

· Prospect for high quality leads in your defined vertical or territory

· Dissect and qualify prospects’ business goals to determine strategic investment for their business’ growth

· Influence decisions to achieve win-win outcomes

· Articulate value proposition and translate features into value and benefits for the customer

· Meet /exceed defined revenue, productivity and quality metrics

· Create a consistent, effective follow-up strategy to convert customers, ensure satisfaction, gather referrals and expand accounts

· Develop expert level knowledge of the Martech industry, top competitors and stay up to date with launches and product/pricing changes

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of successful track record conducting outbound and cold calls, product demos and managing a pipeline, preferably in the SaaS/Martech Space

· Utilises in-depth knowledge of a variety of sales techniques and methodologies

· Experienced in building and managing a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to close

· Self-motivated with proven success in quota carrying

· High level of business acumen and marketing knowledge

· An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity

· Hungry for feedback and exceptional at applying feedback to improve results

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Competitive, collaborative, and highly creative
