About the Role:
- Office-based role
- Location: Freeman’s bay, close to public transport and cafes
- $90K+ per annum depending on experience.
We’re seeking a People & Capability Advisor to support the delivery of people initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This hands-on role focuses on employee experience, learning and development, capability building, and engagement programs that support organisational success.
Ideal for someone who enjoys variety and collaboration, the role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful people initiatives and contribute to capability growth across the employee life cycle.
While exposure to employment relations and recruitment will be provided, the primary focus will be on people programs, capability development, and strategic initiatives, with potential to evolve into a business partnering role over time.
Day to Day:
- Support on boarding and learning initiatives, helping to deliver development programmes and coordinate performance and remuneration cycles
- Contribute to talent management and engagement activities across the employee life cycle, including performance processes and employee initiatives
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on policies, employee relations matters, and performance improvement approaches
- Drive continuous improvement through employee feedback, reporting, and analysis of people metrics and trends
- Manage core P&C administration, including maintaining employee records, preparing documentation, and supporting benefits and compensation processes
About you:
You are a polished and professional HR practitioner with strong knowledge of best practices, who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment. You bring a positive, adaptable approach and the ability to build credibility quickly in a new or growing role.
With a natural drive for continuous improvement, you’re motivated to contribute to initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.
You will Bring:
- 2+ Years experience as a HR Generalist Advisor
- Experience with L&D initiatives or projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Experience working on HR projects or Employee Initiatives
- Confidence working across stakeholders at all levels
- Experience within professional services preferred but not required
