Salt is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Auckland Technology team, taking ownership of an established Project Services desk. With long-standing client relationships, active contract and permanent vacancies, and an engaged network of candidates, you’ll be joining a market with strong foundations and significant room for growth.

This isn’t about starting from scratch. It’s about taking an already successful desk and making it your own.

You’ll recruit across the Project Services landscape, partnering with organisations to hire Project Managers, Business Analysts, Change Managers, PMO professionals, Scrum Masters and Delivery specialists on both permanent and contract assignments. Whether it’s supporting enterprise transformation programmes or helping businesses secure key project talent, you’ll become a trusted advisor to your clients and candidates alike.

The opportunity

You’ll take ownership of an established portfolio while continuing to expand your market presence.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Partnering with organisations to recruit Project Services professionals across permanent and contract markets
• Growing existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities within your network
• Managing end-to-end recruitment processes from briefing through to placement and post-placement care
• Building talent communities across Project Delivery, PMO, Business Analysis and Change
• Supporting contractors throughout their assignments and maintaining exceptional service standards
• Working closely with colleagues across Salt to deliver broader talent solutions for clients

About you

You’ll already understand the pace and energy of agency recruitment and enjoy the commercial challenge that comes with it.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Previous experience in external agency recruitment
• Technology recruitment experience is ideal, although recruiters from other professional services markets with a passion for Tech are encouraged to apply
• Confidence developing and growing client relationships
• A proactive, consultative approach to business development
• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
• The ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders and candidates
• A genuine desire to be part of a collaborative, high-performing team
