Role Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and expanding the company’s market presence in Malta. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and promoting the company’s media monitoring and analysis services. By understanding clients’ needs and developing tailored solutions, you will contribute to the company’s success and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients, developing a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and industry insights.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media agencies, PR firms, and marketing professionals.
  • Understand clients’ requirements and challenges, and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with the internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the company’s capabilities and value proposition.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall business growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within media intelligence or related industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of the media landscape, including traditional and digital channels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasive presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights from data and apply them strategically.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably within the media monitoring or business intelligence industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and building client relationships.

Location:

This position is based in Malta. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Malta.
