Business Development Manager – Pharmaceutical and Charity experience essential | London | 3 Month Contract

My client, a pharmaceutical charity in London is looking for a Business/Charity Development Manager to join the team asap. The ideal candidate will help grow charitable income through promoting their services throughout the commercial, public, charity and grant-funding sectors.

This role will be hands on, identifying, creating and driving opportunities for income growth. Successful candidates will have experience working with start-ups, pharmaceutical clients and charities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, create and drive opportunities to utilise the clients technology to generate income
  • Develop sales materials and communications
  • Research potential clients, initiate contact and develop and maintain relationships
  • Develop client proposals
  • Support development of the charity with regards to external relationships and PR

Required Experience

  • Strong relationship building experience
  • Experience working with Pharmaceutical clients and charities
  • Previous start-up experience
  • Able to influence and ‘sell’ ideas
  • Ability juggle multiple priorities and get things done
  • Self-starter, proactive with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Experience managing and interacting with clients/partners
  • Must be comfortable with and interested in technology
  • Proven success developing income streams in a commercial environment
