A European payments FinTech are on the cusp of explosive growth. They received funding of €10m in 2018 to propel them into new European territories and are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join them in the Midlands overseeing a growing team of Field Sales Executives.

Currently, the business has 200 employees throughout Europe, 10+ employees in the UK, but they’re set to expand to 120 in just the UK by the end of 2019.

The business provides payment services including acquiring, ecommerce payment gateway solutions, digital wallets and issuing services. This is an exciting stage of growth within Europe; they’ve recently opened offices in London and Belgium with further expansion planned throughout Europe.

They are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will report directly into the Country Manager for the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a team of 7 Field Sales Executives within the Midlands area on new business meetings
  • Key account management of larger accounts in the area
  • Reporting on performance of the team to the Country Manager
  • Recruitment and development of Field Sales Executives
  • Utilising existing network to create and forge new business relationships and partnerships
  • Manage the P&L of the region, including steering the development of revenue

Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B payments sales
  • Experience managing a team
  • Prior experience managing a P+L
  • Strong work ethic and motivational attitude
  • Experience in training and development of sales team members
  • Full UK driving licence
