Client Services and Events Lead

Location: London with UK and occasional overseas travel

Salary: £65-75k, with flexibility for the right candidate and bonus potential

Start: May/June 2026

Our client is seeking a seasoned Client Services and Events Lead to take full ownership of a major automotive account for one of the industry’s most recognisable brands. This is a critical senior hire and a chance to step into a flagship role delivering a high impact, year round programme of events.

This role will take over from an established and trusted senior figure who has led this account for many years. Ensuring an uninterrupted and seamless transition is vital. It requires a credible, charismatic and highly capable client services professional who can step in with confidence, maintain strong relationships from day one and continue delivering at the highest standard without disruption.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing and delivering a diverse calendar of large scale, multi day events. These include:

Dealer Conferences

Three day events for 300 plus attendees at premium venues across the UK and overseas. Programmes include gala dinners, entertainment, keynote presentations and senior leadership involvement.

Employee Conferences and Brand Immersion Days

Hands on multi day experiences hosted at automotive proving grounds where attendees interact with new models and brand content.

Motability and Fleet Events

Regular shows at the NEC as well as corporate fleet showcases across the year.

Alongside event delivery, you will oversee creative content development, including films, scripts and presentation materials. You will coordinate closely with internal teams, production partners and suppliers to ensure seamless end to end delivery.

This is a client facing role with a strong emphasis on relationship management. You will act as the senior point of contact, maintaining confidence, trust and strategic oversight across all activity.

Who We Are Looking For

A senior events professional with proven experience delivering complex, large scale and multi day programmes. Automotive experience is desirable but not essential. What matters most is a proactive, organised and confident approach, alongside the ability to lead and also be hands on when required.

You will be comfortable managing multiple workstreams, guiding internal teams, presenting to senior stakeholders and maintaining calm under pressure during intense delivery periods.

Why This Role Matters

This account represents a significant portion of revenue and continuity of delivery is essential as our client’s founder steps back from day to day involvement in May. You will be stepping in at a pivotal moment, with immediate impact on high profile events already in motion.

Interested?

Whether you are actively exploring your next move or simply intrigued by a role of this scale and profile, we encourage you to apply directly via this post. It is an exceptional opportunity to lead a flagship automotive account, shape a nationally recognised events programme and play a central role in a respected agency during an important period of transition.
