Senior Engineer / Product Engineer

I’m partnering with a leading financial technology client to find an experienced Senior Engineer / Product Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of secure engineering and product innovation, building compliance solutions that support regulatory requirements and reduce risk.

What you’ll do:

Design and develop compliance features
Translate regulatory needs into intuitive tools and workflows.
Build secure APIs and automate compliance processes.
Ensure data privacy, encryption, and auditability.
Collaborate with compliance, legal, and tech teams in an agile environment.
Mentor junior engineers and explore emerging tech like AI and blockchain.

What we’re looking for:

7+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years in compliance systems for financial services.
Strong backend skills (Java, Python, Go) and familiarity with frontend frameworks.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud (AWS), and container orchestration.
Knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and secure coding practices.
Bonus: No-code/low-code experience, compliance certifications, or exposure to AI/ML.
