DV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator – Reading (On-Site)
An opportunity is available for a DV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator to join a specialist team supporting a secure, large-scale big data platform for a critical national infrastructure programme.
Location: Reading – 100% On-Site, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain and optimise Linux server environments.
- Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and Bash scripting.
- Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, storage and performance issues.
- Support secure IT infrastructure and CI/CD environments.
Essential Skills:
- Strong Linux administration (RHEL, Rocky Linux or similar)
- VMware vSphere/ESXi
- Ansible or equivalent automation tools
- Bash/shell scripting
- Networking, storage and troubleshooting
- CI/CD and infrastructure security
