I am looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Executive. You will be responsible for developing effective marketing strategies and campaign plans for international trade exhibitions and conference. Using traditional and innovative marketing techniques to attract visitors, delegates, exhibitors, sponsors and press.
As a Senior Marketing Executive you will also be responsible for generating ideas, develop new initiatives and use your B2B marketing experience, to enhance and develop marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to all aspects of marketing activities and communicating clear promotional messages.
- Create and issue promotional electronic newsletters and create effective email campaigns
- Maintain and update the event websites, apply SEO knowledge and recommend ways to enhance user journey.
- Manage PPC campaigns – review results and make recommendations.
- Utilise and manage digital tools (i.e. App, survey tool) to enhance campaigns.
- Manage the exhibitor promotional campaign and contribute to campaign strategy.
- Lead copy writing, design and production of delegate marketing materials, and emails.
- Become an expert in Salesforce – identify marketing opportunities and utilise data.
- Marketing administration including proof reading, delivering advertising copy, responding to enquiries, monitoring competitor activity etc.
- Negotiate barter details with appropriate media partners and associations
- Liaise with external suppliers (incl. PR companies, designers, online providers, data houses, registration companies, printers, photographers, mailing houses).
- Support the implementation of research projects to review customer satisfaction and identify portfolio developments.
- Provide onsite support to ensure the smooth running of marketing related activity (i.e. registration, press office, research, placement of branding and materials; sales stand).
I am looking to speak to candidates who have 1-2 years experience and you have strong copy writing skills along with being HTML proficient and you have experience using databases and creating targeted direct marketing campaigns.
