We’re seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer focused on strengthening Application Security and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with product engineering teams to embed security-by-design, develop reusable threat models, and uplift secure design practices across a large-scale, cloud-based technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document threat models across complex products and platforms
- Build a baseline library of common threats, mitigations, and templates
- Embed SSDLC controls and secure design principles into engineering workflows
- Provide expert guidance during architecture and design reviews
- Collaborate across Cyber Security and Engineering teams to mature secure development practices
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years’ experience in Application or Product Security Engineering
- Strong skills in threat modelling, secure design, and architecture reviews
- Experience integrating security into agile and DevOps environments
- Solid knowledge of AWS security and cloud-native architectures
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Desirable:
- Security certifications (CSSLP, CISSP, CCSP)
- Familiarity with OWASP ASVS, STRIDE, and DevSecOps tooling
This is an 8-month contract with potential extension. You’ll be fully embedded in the engineering teams, helping to drive meaningful security uplift across software development practices.
