Senior Technology Project Manager – Insurance

• Leading general insurance provider!
• $1100 to $1400 + super per day
• Sydney CBD or Paramatta | Hybrid
• ASAP start | 6 month initial contract with strong extension potential

Essential: Proven and recent project delivery experience within the insurance industry. Candidates without insurance domain experience will not be considered.

We’re working with a large, complex insurance organisation delivering major technology and transformation initiatives and looking for an experienced Senior Technology Project Manager to join their delivery team.

This role will lead enterprise-scale programs involving technology, operational change, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

The role

• Lead delivery of complex technology and transformation programs
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior business stakeholders
• Manage project budgets, timelines, governance and reporting
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver outcomes
• Analyse operational and financial information to support decision-making
• Develop communication plans and manage project stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes

About you

• Senior Project Manager experience within the insurance industry
• Strong track record delivering enterprise technology programs
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills at senior leadership level
• Experience managing vendors, delivery governance and project budgets
• Comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments
• Experience in consulting, transformation programs, or regulated industries will be highly regarded.
