Service Technician – Greymouth

Our client supplies some of the most advanced agricultural and construction machinery in the country. These aren’t old farm relics; they’re modern, tech‑heavy, high‑performance machines that keep the Coast moving.

Benefits:

Standard 40 hour week – Monday to Friday – time and a half after 45 hours when applicable.
Call out roster – on call bonus included as well as call out fee and overtime $$
$2,000 per year tool allowance.
Training and career progression, or transfers within NZ locations possible.

What your days look like

Diagnosing and repairing a mix of gear – from tractors to construction machinery
Getting out on the road when needed, helping customers on-site
Using proper diagnostic tools and systems (not guesswork)
Rebuilding components to spec and doing the job right the first time
Working alongside a small, experienced team who know their stuff
Keeping safety front and centre, because shortcuts aren’t worth it

What you bring

Solid mechanical skills and a knack for figuring things out
Experience in heavy diesel, ag, construction, or similar
A trade qualification
The ability to work independently without needing someone over your shoulder
A good attitude with customers – you don’t need to be a chatterbox, just reliable and respectful
