Salt has partnered with a New Zealand’s largest healthcare organisation who are looking for a Temporary EDI Support Analyst to support with a maternity leave cover. This role is fully remote but you will need to be located in New Zealand and have full working rights to be considered.
About the role:
- $40-$50 per hour + 8% holiday pay (depending on experience)
- Remote – You must be based in NZ and have a proper WFH set up, laptop and phone will be provided
- Starting ASAP – July 16th 2027
As an EDI Support Analyst, you will play a key role in monitoring and supporting the organisation’s EDI and Accounts Payable processes, proactively identifying trends, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the seamless flow of critical supplier transactions.
Working closely with suppliers, business stakeholders, and technical teams, you will help resolve complex issues, support supplier onboarding and testing activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of national EDI operations.
Day to Day you will:
- Monitor EDI transaction activity and identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
- Investigate and resolve EDI, supplier, and invoice processing issues.
- Reconcile supplier statements and ensure invoices are processed accurately.
- Liaise with suppliers, business users, and technical teams to coordinate testing and issue resolution.
- Support the onboarding and implementation of new suppliers within the EDI environment.
- Analyse transaction and performance data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Prioritise and manage a high volume of requests in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
About you:
You will bring experience in EDI, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, or a related operational support environment, along with the ability to confidently manage supplier and stakeholder relationships.
A proactive problem solver, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, can analyse large volumes of data to identify and resolve issues, and are comfortable balancing technical troubleshooting with strong communication and project collaboration skills.
What you will bring:
- 1+ Year experience in EDI, particularly monitoring analytics OR strong experience in Accounts Payable and Supply Chain, with an understanding of invoice processing, statement reconciliation, and how the whole cycle is impacted by supplier transactions.
- Experience with Oracle FPIM
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage a high-volume workload.
- Experience supporting projects, system implementations, or supplier onboarding activities within a collaborative team environment.
