Strategic Business Development Rep (Sydney or Melbourne) (Fully Remote)

Market-Leading US SaaS with a Pathway to AE role

We are exclusively representing a market-leading US SaaS company with 18+ years of global success, empowering tens of thousands of trade and service businesses with cutting-edge, business-critical technology.

Already thriving in Australia since 2021 without a local sales presence. The business is now officially launching boots on the ground.

This is your opportunity to lead the charge.

Main Responsibilities

· Quality leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into sales opportunities

· Reach out to potential customers via cold calls and emails

· Identify customer needs and assess whether they require customer care or sales support

· Set up meetings and calls between customers and Account Executives

· Stay up to date with product changes

· Utilise Salesforce and sales cadence management tools to effectively engage prospects

· Work with the Account Executives on the ground in Australia and with US based teams collaboratively

Experience and Skills

· Must have worked in Trades or Maintenance Companies with a passion for technology or worked for Saas/Tech companies

· Have at least 2+ years experience in a similar role

· Hands-on experience with various sales techniques, including cold calling

· Proven track record of achieving sales quotas

· Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)

· Understanding of sales performance metrics (KPIs)

· Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to sales

· Desirable to possess a degree or have proven success in a similar role (3 years + is preferred)
