OrgHealth works with senior leaders and executive teams across the UK and internationally, helping organisations become healthier, more aligned and more effective through the organisational health methodology developed by Patrick Lencioni and The Table Group.
Over the last decade, we’ve grown by more than 500%, building a reputation for delivering exceptional client experiences across government, public services and major commercial organisations.
As we’ve grown, our processes have evolved organically. They work well because of the quality of our people, but we know there’s an opportunity to work smarter.
We’re now looking for a Business Improvement Manager to help us take the next step.
This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact on a successful, people-focused business by simplifying operations, improving workflows and helping us leverage technology, automation and AI in practical, meaningful ways.
The opportunity
This role sits at the heart of the business.
You’ll work closely with Directors, Principal Consultants and the wider operations team to understand how the organisation works today and identify opportunities to make it work even better tomorrow.
You’ll map processes, challenge inefficiencies, improve systems and implement change that reduces administrative burden and increases the time our people spend doing what matters most: supporting clients.
Importantly, this isn’t a consultancy-style role that produces recommendations and walks away.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, testing ideas, implementing solutions and measuring results.
What you’ll be doing
As Business Improvement Manager, you will:
- Map and analyse how the business currently operates
- Understand the complete client lifecycle from enquiry through delivery and renewal
- Work closely with leadership, consultants and operations teams to identify improvement opportunities
- Review workflows, systems and operating processes
- Identify unnecessary administration and duplicated effort
- Improve how information, documents and knowledge are organised and accessed
- Evaluate opportunities for automation and workflow optimisation
- Explore practical uses of AI that improve productivity and client service
- Support system enhancements or technology implementations where appropriate
- Standardise processes while retaining flexibility where required
- Implement improvements and drive adoption across the business
- Measure outcomes and ensure changes deliver genuine value
- Continually identify opportunities to improve ways of working
- Protect and enhance the client experience throughout any change programme
What success looks like
You’ll help create a business where:
- Less time is spent on administration
- More time is spent with clients
- Processes are simpler and easier to follow
- Teams have greater visibility and consistency
- Technology supports people rather than creating more complexity
- Improvements are embedded, sustainable and measurable
You’ll constantly be asking questions such as:
- Why do we do it this way?
- Does this process still add value?
- Why are different people doing the same thing differently?
- Can automation help here?
- Could AI remove part of the workload?
- What genuinely requires human input?
- How can we make this easier without compromising quality?
Who we’re looking for
We’re more interested in mindset and impact than specific industry experience.
You may currently be working as a:
- Business Improvement Manager
- Business Operations Manager
- Continuous Improvement Manager
- Operations Manager
- Business Transformation Consultant
- Business Change Manager
- Operational Excellence Lead
- Client Operations Manager
- Professional Services Operations Manager
You’ll likely have experience improving processes within service-led, professional-services or people-centric organisations where relationships and client experience are critical.
The ideal candidate
You’ll be:
- Naturally curious and analytical
- Commercially aware and pragmatic
- Comfortable challenging the status quo
- Strong at identifying root causes rather than symptoms
- Excited by technology, automation and AI
- Capable of balancing strategy with execution
- Highly collaborative and influential
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Skilled at bringing others on a journey of change
- Focused on outcomes rather than activity
Most importantly, you’ll understand that successful change isn’t just about processes and technology.
