We are partnering with a global technology and equipment company serving the retail and commercial fueling industry to hire a Director of Product Management for a highly visible customer experience platform.

This role will lead the strategy, roadmap, and commercial success of a next-generation platform that combines software with integrated hardware to enhance customer experiences across fueling and emerging EV charging environments.

The Director of Product Management will guide the product portfolio from ideation through commercialization and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives. This role requires a strong blend of market insight, business strategy, and technical understanding while working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams.

The Role

As Director of Product Management, you will define the product vision and roadmap for a portfolio of digital and hardware-enabled solutions designed for retail fueling and mobility environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing to deliver innovative solutions that drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance customer experience. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping product direction while also ensuring strong execution and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the overall product strategy and roadmap for a customer experience platform and related applications across fueling and EV charging environments.
  • Identify new market opportunities and align product initiatives with revenue and profitability goals.
  • Own portfolio performance, including revenue growth, pricing strategy, and margin management.
  • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product development and positioning.
  • Establish strong relationships with key customer accounts and industry stakeholders to capture Voice of Customer insights.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from concept through launch and end-of-life planning.
  • Partner closely with sales teams on forecasting, competitive positioning, and win/loss analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and manufacturing to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Monitor product performance metrics including revenue, profitability, adoption, and operational quality.
  • Lead competitive benchmarking and market positioning efforts.
  • Support key customer engagements including product demonstrations, presentations, and strategic discussions.
  • Partner with marketing to develop product messaging, content, and go-to-market materials.

Candidate Profile

  • 8-10+ years of product management experience, ideally across software, hardware, or connected platform solutions.
  • Experience leading product strategy for customer-facing platforms or technology-driven solutions.
  • Industry experience within retail fueling, mobility technology, energy infrastructure, or industrial IoT is beneficial but not required.
  • Demonstrated success driving product innovation, revenue growth, and market adoption.
  • Experience partnering with commercial sales teams and managing multiple sales channels.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
