Salt has partnered with a well-known Kiwi organisation that is seeking temporary support in their information team.
About the Role:
- Based in Newmarket
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, 2 days working from home after training period
- $40-$45 per hour + 8% holiday pay
- 6 Month temporary assignment starting ASAP
Working in a small close‑knit team, the primary function of this role is to update the GIS (Geographical Information System) and customer data. This is a high‑volume processing role managing thousands of records which contribute to a larger project across the organisation. The work is backend‑focused, highly task‑based, and ideal for someone who enjoys accuracy, routine, and working independently.
Day to Day you will:
- Fix and update GIS data through the application (training provided)
- Check customer information and cross‑reference with other systems
- Correct and uplift customer and connectivity data for the Advanced Distribution Management System
- Work through large volumes of repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail
- Liaise with the wider project team and offshore QA team as needed
About You:
You will bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn to a team that enjoys having a laugh while working together.
- Must have experience with Data Entry or Managing Data (2-4 years)
- Excellent attention to detail and passion for getting it right the first time
- Strong reliability, good organisational skills, and able to manage repetitive workloads
- Experience using Oracle Siebel CRM preferred but not required
- Bonus if you have experience with GIS or NRM training
- Computer‑savvy and comfortable learning new systems
