Location: Hybrid – Onsite in Culver City, CA
We are looking for an Owned Social Strategist to join the Services Social Marketing team at a leading global technology company. In this role, you will bring to life the organic social marketing strategy across multiple Services, managing owned channels while collaborating with partner channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media and culture, experienced in managing cross-functional projects, and knows how to leverage social platforms to tell impactful stories that engage audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop social-first concepts, campaigns, and programs for owned social channels.
- Lead social briefings for campaigns, formats, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute integrated campaigns.
- Advocate for social best practices across teams and stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of social trends and provide thought leadership for key marketing moments.
- Provide hands-on support for programming and publishing as needed.
- Manage agency relationships.
- Be available for on-call support nights and weekends as required.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in digital/social marketing.
- 3+ years managing agencies and vendors.
- Experience working directly with creators, artists, and external partners.
- Ability to use data to inform strategy, including audience insights, platform trends, and content performance benchmarks.
- Experience navigating a multifaceted work environment.
- Strong storytelling, presentation, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating with high-profile talent on high-stakes projects.
