They’re looking for a Product Development Engineer with hands-on experience in VLSI board design to join their team onsite in Santa Clara, CA.
This is an opportunity to be part of a high-impact engineering team developing next-generation systems and components. You’ll work across the full VLSI design lifecycle, from architecture and simulation to testing and client delivery, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure precision, performance, and compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead VLSI Design & Development: Drive the design, analysis, modification, and evaluation of VLSI components and hardware systems from concept to production.
Architect & Verify Systems: Define system functionality, perform logic design verification using simulation software, and evaluate prototype results to enable robust VLSI solutions.
Optimize & Improve Systems: Conduct system evaluations, identify enhancements, and recommend design modifications to improve technical performance and reliability.
Documentation & Testing: Allocate testing modules, oversee verification, and ensure all technical documentation including scripts and test cases, is complete and client-ready.
Customer Support: Serve as a technical point of contact for system escalations, assisting clients in debugging and resolving complex engineering challenges.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all VLSI and hardware systems meet relevant regulations, standards, and operational requirements.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and contributing to the ongoing improvement of engineering processes and outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
5-8 years of experience in VLSI design, verification, and board-level hardware development.
Strong background in VLSI board design and system-level architecture.
Experience with logic design verification, simulation, and testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience analyzing system performance and implementing design modifications.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex engineering challenges and provide innovative, data-driven solutions.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Leadership: Comfortable taking initiative and guiding others through design reviews, technical escalations, and verification processes.
