Programme Management / Mobilisation Lead

Contract | Outside IR35 | Fully Remote

We are currently seeking an experienced Programme Management / Mobilisation Lead to support the mobilisation of a major Finance transformation programme.

This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and provide the structure required to turn an emerging transformation strategy into an executable programme and clear delivery roadmap.

You will establish the programme structure, workstreams, governance and planning required to support areas including AOP planning, Target Operating Model development and Communications, ensuring discovery translates into decisions, decisions into deliverables and deliverables into measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobilise and establish a complex transformation programme from an ambiguous starting point.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear workstreams, deliverables, milestones and outcomes.
• Develop integrated programme roadmaps and detailed Plans on a Page (PoAPs).
• Establish programme governance, controls and decision-making structures.
• Own RAID, dependencies, milestones and programme-level risks.
• Manage interdependencies across multiple transformation workstreams.
• Develop meaningful programme MI and executive reporting.
• Establish measures focused on genuine progress and business outcomes.
• Produce polished, senior-quality programme packs for executive stakeholders.
• Bring structure and pace to an environment where the future state is still developing.
• Support the transition from discovery and design into implementation.

Experience Required

• Strong programme mobilisation and transformation delivery experience.
• Proven experience establishing complex programmes from an ambiguous starting point.
• Excellent programme planning and roadmap development skills.
• Strong governance, RAID and dependency management experience.
• Experience managing multiple transformation workstreams.
• Strong executive reporting and programme MI capability.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with senior executives and producing high-quality board/C-suite materials.
• Experience moving transformation programmes from discovery/design into implementation.
• Financial Services and/or Finance transformation experience highly desirable.
