About the Company
Our client is an independent, award-winning creative communications agency working with major global brands. They combine earned media, cultural insight, creativity and strategy to create work designed to get people talking.
It’s a collaborative environment where creativity isn’t confined to the creative department. Everyone is expected to contribute ideas and have an impact.
The Role
This is more than a Senior Account Director role. It’s an opportunity to become the senior social and influencer specialist within the agency and help shape what the proposition becomes.
You’ll lead existing social and influencer work, develop the team’s capabilities and identify opportunities to expand the offering across existing clients. Longer term, there’s genuine scope to build a specialist team and progress towards a Head of Social & Influencer position.

- Shape content strategies across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and emerging platforms
- Develop culturally relevant, reactive creative ideas and content
- Identify opportunities to grow social and influencer activity within existing client relationships
- Advise PR teams on how social, creators and influencers can strengthen wider earned campaigns
- Build trusted senior client relationships and confidently champion the value of social and influencer
- Help upskill the wider agency and develop its social and influencer capabilities
- Lead, mentor and inspire a growing team

- You understand how brands can use creators, influencers and social platforms effectively
- You’re comfortable advising and challenging senior clients
- You can spot organic growth opportunities without needing to be a traditional salesperson
- You’re creatively minded and want to contribute ideas, not simply manage delivery
- You have the presence and energy to champion social and influencer across an agency

Why would you want to join/do the job?
Because this is a genuine build opportunity.
You’ll have senior backing to establish a stronger social and influencer proposition, while already having clients, work and an existing team to build from. The ambition is to grow the capability significantly, and the person joining will have substantial influence over what that looks like.
If you’ve developed your expertise inside an established agency and are now thinking, “I’d do this differently if it were mine”, this is an opportunity to put that thinking into practice without starting from zero.
