🎯 Role Overview

Seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to unlock new partnerships and drive revenue growth across agencies and brands. This is a pure new business role focused on outreach, pitching, and activation of first-time clients.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage non-spending agencies and brands across South Africa.
  • Conduct cold outreach and schedule meetings with decision-makers at media, digital, and creative agencies.
  • Present innovative social media ad formats and demonstrate their performance value.
  • Build and nurture relationships from first contact to campaign activation.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement to tailor proposals, walkthroughs, and case studies.
  • Feed market insights back to leadership to inform strategy and product evolution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage pipeline effectively.
  • Consistently meet outreach, meeting, and revenue targets.

📌 Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or account growth within digital marketing or ad tech.
  • Proven success in opening new business in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of social advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Spotify, X).
  • Familiarity with agency operations and campaign approval cycles.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Strong CRM discipline and commercial acumen.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort in fast-paced environments.
  • Passion for creative technology and performance-driven advertising.
