Embedded Software Developer

Locations: Spring, TX | Chippewa Falls, WI | Colorado

Our client is seeking Embedded Software Developers to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for high-performance computing systems. The work focuses on low-level system software including drivers, hardware interfaces, networking components, and system tools.

These roles involve close collaboration with hardware and systems teams to ensure seamless integration, influence design decisions, and support next-generation computing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance systems software including drivers, networking, interfaces, and tools
• Support hardware/software integration and debug complex system-level issues
• Write and execute test plans, validation scripts, and debugging procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on architecture and delivery
• Contribute to system-level design discussions and technical problem solving

Requirements

• 3-7 years of embedded or systems software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python, and/or Go
• Linux development experience required
• Experience working close to hardware / system-level software
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
