We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the delivery of 5G and LTE network optimisation, performance improvement and modernisation initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to work on leading-edge mobile network projects within a highly skilled technical team.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse network performance and support solutions to improve quality, coverage and capacity.
- Deliver 5G and LTE optimisation activities including parameter changes, feature implementation, software upgrades and network trials.
- Investigate network issues, perform root cause analysis and work with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations and implementation documentation.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and technical capability development across the team.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience in Telecommunications or Radio Access Network (RAN) Engineering.
- Strong expertise in 5G and LTE technologies, including NSA/SA, carrier aggregation, spectrum layers, mmWave and Cloud RAN concepts.
- Hands-on experience with network optimisation, feature implementation, parameter tuning, PoCs and network trials.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse KPIs, alarms, counters, drive test logs and customer experience metrics.
- Excellent communication skills with experience working across customers, stakeholders and project teams.
Highly Regarded
- Experience supporting network modernisation, enhancement or MOCN projects.
- Ericsson products and solutions experience.
- Knowledge of 3GPP standards and multi-vendor network environments.
- Experience with drive test analysis tools such as X-CAL, X-CAP or TEMS.
- Python, VBA or other scripting skills for automation and analysis.
