- They play a critical role in developing industry standards, influencing policy outcomes, and driving collaboration across some of New Zealand’s most important infrastructure providers. Its work spans rapidly evolving areas including connectivity, consumer protection, and emerging technologies.
The role:
- In this role, you will work closely with industry leaders, regulators, and technical experts, providing project leadership and coordination to deliver key initiatives through industry working groups. This is a unique opportunity to be at the centre of discussions that shape how New Zealand’s telecommunications sector operates.
- Project lead on specific projects with the responsibility for delivering the work on time
The ideal candidate:
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role:
IMPORTANT:
- Skilled at managing projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
- Proven capability to drive alignment and consensus in complex environments
- Able to understand and communicate relevant policy and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate and coordinate industry working groups across a range of topics
- Understand the strategy and objectives of the groups and support them in undertaking activities to achieve their goals
- Competent in articulating project objectives and producing relevant project related documentation
- Organising meetings and workshops (online and in person)
- Consider yourself an organised professional with excellent communication skills
- Have exceptional document writing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- While subject-matter expertise is not required, a strong willingness to learn across a diverse range of topics is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with AI tools
- Good to have (not mandatory) : experience handling legal matters. Experience in the telecommunications sector
