About the role
As a key member of the internal sales team, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while identifying and converting sales opportunities. You’ll work closely with field sales to support customer needs and help drive business growth.
We’re open to taking people with good customer services or sales experience in a technical field, such as Engineering or Automotive.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing day-to-day customer enquiries and building strong relationships
- Preparing quotes and following up to convert opportunities into sales
- Handling inbound calls and delivering outstanding customer service
- Proactively reaching out to customers to generate new opportunities
- Supporting the field sales team with leads, data, and customer insights
- Resolving customer issues and ensuring a positive experience
- Coordinating orders and liaising with internal teams to meet customer requirements
- Contributing to team sales targets and ongoing improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for
- Experience in customer service or internal sales
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A commercial mindset with confidence in negotiating and closing sales
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good general IT skills (e.g. Excel, Word, CRM systems)
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial products
- Ability to understand technical information or drawings
