Salt is partnering with a leading financial services organisation in the UAE to appoint an experienced Threat Intelligence Manager.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for building and advancing the organisation’s threat intelligence capability. You will lead the identification, analysis and communication of emerging cyber threats, turning complex intelligence into clear, actionable insights that strengthen security operations and protect critical information assets.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and continuously develop the Threat Intelligence function
- Build a proactive, intelligence-led approach to emerging cyber threats
- Profile threat actors and analyse their tactics, techniques and procedures
- Conduct malware analysis, reverse engineering and digital forensic investigations
- Integrate threat intelligence with SOC and Incident Response operations
- Produce intelligence reports and briefings for both technical and executive audiences
- Deploy and maintain Threat Intelligence Platforms
- Collaborate with industry intelligence-sharing communities and external partners
- Ensure the integrity, preservation and chain of custody of digital evidence
- Manage specialist third-party security vendors
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years of experience across threat intelligence and cyber threat analysis
- Strong experience within a large, complex or highly regulated environment – financial services experience would be highly advantageous
- Hands-on expertise in malware analysis, reverse engineering and digital forensics
- Strong knowledge of Threat Intelligence Platforms and their integration with SOC environments
- Detailed understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain and the Diamond Model
- Experience using OSINT techniques, commercial threat feeds and forensic tools such as EnCase
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, including ISO 27001, NESA, PCI DSS and SWIFT
- A degree in IT, engineering, cybersecurity or a related discipline
- Relevant certifications such as GCTI, CTIA, CISSP, CISM, GCFA, GREM or ENCE would be highly valued
12 Month Extendable Contract
